We are a few days away from the New Year and there are so many things that are changing around me. Family members are moving into new homes, several of my friends have expanded their families and now have the cutest babies, some friends are newly married, started. going to new churches, or are starting new careers, I could go on and on with how God has been blessing those close to me. That’s how good God is to us. I have had a lot of new things happening for me and for my family as well. The most major thing is that I will be starting school soon to pursue my career as a teacher.

I started working last year as a long term substitute and it was such an exciting job. There are many challenges, but the good everyday outweighs all of the bad. My favorite part about school is coming home and sharing my day with Brennan. We would laugh as I shared stories with him and on occasion we would cry. Kids are so amazing and they say the funniest things.

In this season I plan to take more time to enjoy all of the little moments. The handmade notes from the students, The beautiful pictures that they like to draw for me. the art that the give me to glue onto my desk calendar. I am planning on starting a scrapbook so that I can not only keep their artwork but that I am able to label and archive the work of my little Picassos. I am fortunate to have such generous kiddos that I am able to work with, eat lunch with and just do life with for 7 hours a day. I pray that I would have a positive impact on their life as much as they have had on mine. I learn so much from them each day and with every lesson I share with them, God has a funny way of sharing that same thing with me.

This is the year for healing and deliverance for me and my family and for all of those that I am connected to. In this new beginning I don’t want to miss God or His assignment for my life. I pray that you seek God concerning what He would have you to do in 2025 and that all of the plans that you receive from Him are good and prosperous.
