A Different Kind of Fall

I am so ready for fall. Yes, I am done with this Arkansas heat. The heat has been good for my little container garden, but it has been unbearable at times. I love fall because of football, the beautiful colors, the home decor, and the fragrances that come along with it. Most importantly, I love being able to gather together and spend time with my family and friends.

This year I may not be able to enjoy football due to the coronavirus pandemic. I love football, but my desire is for everyone to be safe above anything, so I can wait. Last year, Brennan and I went to Dallas to watch our teams play each other. My birds got beat up pretty bad the last time we were there. We had plans to go to Dallas again this year to watch the Cowboys and the Eagles play since it is usually near our anniversary, but changed our minds.

What things will change in your fall routine this year? I plan to get outdoors more and enjoy all of the things that God has created for us. Since we aren’t going out of state, we will explore Arkansas and check out all of this natural beauty that surrounds us!

How have you taken time out to plan and prepare for this changing season? Have you already started adding your fall decor? I have. I also have some fall scents I purchased and plan to start using soon. I don’t know about ya’ll, but I am looking forward to all that God has for me in this new season.

Cool breeze, moose munch, pumpkin spice, outdoor brunch, the changing trees, colorful leaves, it’s fall ya’ll! – Alysia Wells

Trusting in Him always,
